FreeResume.me is a free forever resume, CV, and cover letter builder. No paywall at download, no watermark, no account required to start. We are independent, not owned by a template paywall network, and our business model is simple: help you get past ATS and get hired — then you tell a friend.

Every year, millions of job seekers spend 30–60 minutes building a resume, then hit a paywall asking $24.99/month to download their own work. That is extractive. We believe resume tools should be free at the point of use, ATS-optimized by default, and private by design (browser-local editing and ATS checking when you are a guest).

We label unverified claims with [VERIFY] until confirmed and we publish honest limitations where FreeResume.me is not the best fit.
