Designer Column Resume Template
Inspired by top Product & UX designer community templates. Bold full-width header on accent background, left sidebar with progress-bar skills and tools, right main column for experience and education. Perfect for designers, PMs, and creatives — adapts to academic CV with publications and research.
An ATS-friendly resume template is a single-column (or carefully structured) layout with standard headings, real text instead of images, and no tables that scramble parsers such as Workday, Greenhouse, and Lever. Free includes 1 resume, a watermark-free PDF, and a standard portfolio. Pro unlocks unlimited resumes, unlimited ATS scoring, cover letters, academic CVs, and Pro portfolio themes.
Who it is for. Designers, UX, and hybrid PM/design roles that still need selectable text.
ATS notes. More expressive two-column; still avoids body tables. Prefer Modern Minimal for strict ATS.
When not to use it. Do not send this to a bank or government portal that rejects two-column files.

Designer Column borrows from top product and UX portfolio résumés: a bold full-width header on an accent background, a left sidebar for skills and tools with visual weight indicators, and a right column for experience and education. It signals creative craft while keeping text selectable and structurally parseable.
Use it for product design, UX research, visual design, brand, and hybrid PM/design roles where showing tool fluency and project impact matters. The sidebar highlights Figma, research methods, or tech stacks without relying on graphics that ATS cannot read.
Although more expressive than a plain single-column résumé, Designer Column still avoids tables and embedded images in the body content so automated screening can extract your job titles, employers, and dates reliably.
